SUBSTITUTE NUTRITION MANAGER- (WORKS ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS ONLY).

JOB SUMMARY:
Manages and directs a school food service program to insure the preparation, re-therm, quality control and serving of nutritious meals which meet 1/3 of the daily nutrition requirements to all students in a clean, efficient, and pleasant atmosphere.  Good interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise and instruct a staff of three or more employees

REPORT TO:
School Site Area Manager; Site Supervisors; Executive Director of School Nutrition

SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT:
School Nutrition

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
1.   Extensive knowledge in the preparation of foods served in Child Nutrition Programs.
2.   Ability to use and care for all equipment utilized in the preparation of school meals; of all facets of operations
3.   Management experience preferred.
4.   Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
5.   Skills in the application of principles of personnel supervision.
6.   Effective oral and written communication skills.
7.   Experience and knowledge with personal computers.
8.   Ability to apply principles of Food Service, Sanitation and HACCP in daily activities.
9.   Knowledge of applicable county, state and federal school food service regulations.
10. Ability to translate standards of Food and Nutrition excellence into daily operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.  High school diploma or GED is desired.
   

SALARY:
$12.00 per hour (work on an "as -need and as-called"  basis).
