JOB SUMMARY
This position works to optimize operational efficiency by using technology to automate processes. The technology integration specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing technology solutions that align with our district strategic plan. The ideal candidate will have experience in education, project management, and software development, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Researches and evaluates current and emerging technologies that can enhance teaching and learning, streamline operations, and optimize resources.
- Analyzes the needs and requirements of various stakeholders, including teachers, students, administrators, and parents, and proposes technology solutions that meet their expectations and objectives. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and translates them into technical solutions.
- Designs, develops, implements, and maintains technology projects, specifically automation workflows and custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate, in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Monitors and evaluates the performance, impact, and satisfaction of the technology solutions and makes adjustments and improvements as needed.
- Develops and maintains documentation and reports on technology solutions and the corresponding processes, procedures, and outcomes.
- Integrates Power Apps with other Microsoft services such as Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Enhances solutions with available AI tools that may include Copilot Studio.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to Power Apps applications.
- Stays up-to-date with the latest Power Apps features and updates to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Provides training and support to end-users on Power Apps applications and supports staff and users on how to use and maintain the technology solutions effectively and efficiently.
- Provides training on productivity tools, primarily those in the Microsoft suite.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the director.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least three years of experience in technology integration, software development, or education technology.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of current and emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in education and automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C#, and web development tools, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with data integration and management using Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, or other databases.
- Proven experience as a Power Apps Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft productivity tools, as well as Adobe.
- Ability to design, develop, test, and implement user-friendly and secure technology solutions that meet the needs and expectations of various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200) are a plus.
- Extensive JavaScript experience desired.
